Mount Clear Primary School prides itself on providing a safe, caring and happy environment where we value positive relationships (Respect and Honesty), support and understanding of each other (Care), and high expectations (Personal Best). We provide our students with a learning program that emphasises literacy and numeracy, scaffolded by student wellbeing programs aimed at developing self-esteem, confidence, resilience, personal and leadership skills. Ever-expanding technology resources, programs and strategies are integrated across all programs, and we consistently encourage students to be their 'personal best' in everything they do. The school currently has 21.4 equivalent full time staffing positions: 2 Principal class, 15 Teaching staff and 4.4 Education Support staff. The school has modern facilities throughout, with a recently refurbished Prep –2 open plan learning area, incorporating purpose - built designs and up-to-date technology. A new senior student building, housing four learning areas and a technology centre has been built and is in use, and an external maintenance upgrade has been completed. We are in the second year of our current Strategic Plan, which focuses on numeracy and literacy, student wellbeing, pathways and transitions throughout the school and the increased use of ICT.
