Brisbane Adventist College is a private Christian Prep to 12 school owned and operated by Seventh-day Adventist Schools (South Queensland) Ltd. Located in Mansfield, enrolment is open to applicants who seek a rigorous and creative learning experience irrespective of their religious affiliation. Our current enrolment is approximately 620 students. Situated in a green and picturesque setting, the College plans to grow so it can offer the community greater access to quality learning. With a strong academic heritage and comprehensive facilities, we also offer value-added programs including Enhanced Learning (remediation and extension); Duke of Edinburgh; participation in local, national and international academic competitions; inter and intra school sporting competitions and local and international outreach programs (StormCo). Health and safety is a priority at the College with a healthy canteen program in place; a strong Chaplaincy program; formal mentor systems; a qualified and licensed on-site Counsellor and regular lunchtime inter-house competitions to build confidence and resilience. A 1:1 laptop program will be introduced in 2011 to enrich digital learning for all students.
