Mansfield State School has been proudly educating students of the Mansfield community since 1970. This school promotes students' success through a balanced pursuit of excellence in academic, cultural and sporting endeavours. Our Prep to Year 7 curriculum incorporates the Essential Learnings of the Key Learning Areas, including French, and is augmented with Gifted and Talented, Early Intervention strategies and Learning and Special Needs Support. Students and families of Mansfield State School bring a rich and diverse range of learning experiences to our school through shared understandings of the 40 different cultural backgrounds present in our school setting. Our school meets the high expectations of our local community achieving well through a robust academic program, a program of excellence in music and various environmental project partnerships. Mansfield State School has a strong and productive partnership with the Parents and Citizens Association who generously support teachers' endeavours by supplementing standard allocations with additional classroom materials and teaching resources, including computer technology.
