Southside Christian College is a ministry of Life Church in the southern suburbs of Brisbane. We have an open enrolment policy for families looking for quality Christian Education. Our pre-enrolment testing and extensive enrolment interview process provides clarity to our prospective families. The college enrolment is presently over 500 and will be capped at two streams in a few years time. We cater for students from Pre-Prep to Year 12 and enjoy a good reputation in our community for our dedicated students and involvement in a wide variety of community activities. On average, two-thirds of our graduates attend University with almost 100% placement outcome for all graduates. Our students benefit from Performing Arts, Public Speaking and Debating, Music (covering 14 instruments and six performance groups), Representative sport and a challenging Outdoor Education program from Years 5 to 12. Our bus fleet adds flexibility and scope to the College programs and our proximity to Griffith University is well utilised. Our healthy food policy and commitment to fitness programs are also well supported. The College Master Plan is well underway with almost all our students enjoying new, well equipped, air-conditioned classrooms. Our student computer ratio is 1:2.
