St Thomas Primary School, opened in 1997, is built on the belief that the teachings of Christ and his message are central to all that we do, and that Faith Values can be lived out in our day to day lives. The school buildings exemplify modern Australian architecture, with open plan home units each housing a large multi-purpose room. The school is set on 3 hectares of rural land to create a unique and peaceful environment where learning is maximised. There are numerous celebrations and traditions held throughout the year, which always attract considerable family participation. The students have a number of varied opportunities at St Thomas. Apart from the standard curriculum, specialist areas include a physical education program, information and communication technology, Performing Arts and Italian. Our new 5 /6 Learning Area includes contemporary learning spaces, a 'state of the art' ICT Lab, and a fully equipped kitchen.The school is also currently involved in the Australian Sustainable Schools Program. Lunchtime activities support the student welfare, physical education and performing arts programs.
