Cleve Area School is located on the Eyre Peninsula, approximately 550km from Adelaide. Two-thirds of students travel from outlying rural communities at Mangalo, Verran, Arno Bay, Rudall, Cowell, Darke Peak, Port Neill and Wharminda. The school offers the state curriculum framework and a number of programs that support early intervention. Parents appreciate the many opportunities for students to be involved in extracurricular activities. Furthermore, the school community values the parents and students' contribution to the decision-making processes. The Governing Council and Student Representative Council play an active role in school improvement programs. Information technology programs cover key areas such as video-conferencing, email, Open Access and using the internet.
