Lefevre Peninsula Primary School has a strong focus on literacy, numeracy and student wellbeing. Our vision is to ensure all students become independent, lifelong learners with an understanding of global influences. As such, we support students in their emotional and social development through the 'You Can Do It' program where the five foundation keys are explicitly taught. Focus areas in our site learning plan are literacy, numeracy, Information and Communication Technology and student wellbeing. Sport is taught as part of the Health and PE learning area and Indonesian is taught as our Language Other than English. We also have a varied music program including a school choir, Angklung band and chime bar band. Teachers work collaboratively across the school with a strong emphasis on shared planning and programming. We have visits from a number of sporting associations that run clinics. Out of school hours teams include soccer, basketball, netball, cricket, football and athletics. Further, our school facilities have recently been upgraded through the school budget and the 'Building Education Revolution'.
