Ballan Primary School offers a comprehensive curriculum with an emphasis on Literacy and Numeracy. Our Strategic Plan has an emphasis on the improvement of Learning Outcomes for students in Number and Writing through quality programs, as well as an emphasis on students feeling connected to the school, their peers and teachers. Our school values are reinforced in all that the school does. The values the Ballan Primary School community have agreed to are: Integrity, Respect and Team Work. Our school facilities are modern and kept in excellent condition. All of our classrooms are permanent and equiped to provide a 21st Century education to our students. Ballan Primary School offers its students, staff and parents an active, safe and stimulating learning environment. At Ballan primary School we have 14 equivalent full-time staff. This consists of the Principal, Assistant principal, 10 teachers, four Integraton Aides, one Library Technician and two office staff. 2011 is the first year of our newly developed Strategic Plan. We continue to have a focus on further improving the Literacy and Numeracy Learning outcomes of our students. We will also continue to develop strong transition programs and to further develop a curriculum which is stimulating and motivating to engage our students in their learning.
