St Joseph's School is situated one block from the Central Business District of Bundaberg. Present enrolment is 190 students. St Joseph's has a long and impressive history dating from 1876. In those early years, the foundress of the Josephite sisters, Mary MacKillop, visited this school on a number of occasions. St Joseph's is very proud of its Catholic ethos and history. St Joseph's school-wide digital culture ensures access to digital teaching resources. We have wireless connectivity, interactive white boards, digital cameras, laptop and desktop computers in classrooms and the library, thus allowing easy, frequent access to technology. Our Learning Support Program responds to the needs of identified students requiring extension, behaviour and/or learning support. We offer Optiminds, band, instrumental, music and drama programs. Specialist teachers teach Science and Physical Education. Our registered Outside School Hours Care provides excellent service to our school and wider community with before and after school care and vacation care provided. Our school operates a 'healthy approach' tuckshop and our school is fully airconditioned. St Joseph's School buildings and environment have had recent refurbishment and upgrades including the addition of a multipurpose covered, enclosed hall.
