Toogoolawah State School is situated in a rural community approximately 120 kilometres from Brisbane. Our school has been providing education to the district for 105 years to students from town and rural environments. Our school has focused intently on embedding the Queensland Curriculum and Reporting Framework. The teachers have engaged in professional development with a focus on the alignment of curriculum and assessment. We are focussed on improving student achievement outcomes, making our school a place of quality educational opportunities and a school community which acknowledges the existence of a safe and supportive school environment. Our programs and policies are mindful of directions set out in the triennial school review process and the Responsible School Behaviour Plan. We work within our cluster of schools to forward commonality in our approaches and direction to improve student achievement.
