The school community aims to provide the best education for all students in a challenging and diverse learning environment through the provision of a full and rich curriculum. Vision - Our school learning community strives to prepare students for their future. Values - We believe in developing respect, responsibility and resilience through a challenging and diverse learning environment. Respect, responsibility and resilience are known as our 3R's. Throughout this year and in 2011 a Literacy Coach will be working with teachers to demonstrate continual improvement in Literacy. In 2011 Clyde P.S. will continue to implement a Student Leadership Program for its Year 6 leaders this includes leaders attending a Leadership camp. Students have the opportunity to represent the school at sporting events such as netball and athletics. The school continues to develop a strong ICT program which includes a lab of new computers, a class set of laptops and interactive whiteboards in all classrooms. Clyde P.S. provides an Active After School Program twice a week for its students. A speech pathalogist assistant program (STA) is also facilitated at Clyde P.S. The Building Education Revolution stimulus package provided the school with four new classrooms, a new library and flexible learning spaces. This learning centre will be used by Preps to Year 2 in 2011. Clyde P.S. staff consists of a Principal, Assistant Principal, 9 teachers and 5 Educational Support staff.
