Seaford Primary is the original school in the Seaford area having been established in 1914. It is a small community school of approximately 154 students. Staff comprises 2 Principal Class, 8.6 Teachers and 6.43 equivalent full time Education Support Staff. Our beliefs as a school are based on the core values of Integrity, Responsibility, Respect, Excellence and Tolerance. We encourage the development of positive self esteem, a desire to learn and an ability to work as a member of a team. A strong basis for the development of Literacy and Numeracy is provided along with daily attention to emotional, social and physical development. Specialist programs including Physical Education, Arts and Indonesian, ensure the delivery of a comprehensive and diverse curriculum. Our school proudly hosts a Special Assistance Unit (Language) which caters for students with a diagnosed language disorder. The school is renowned for the extra-curricula activities provided for our students to further engage them in their learning. These include the Victorian Chess Championships, guitar and keyboard lessons, singing group, Active After School Programs, concert, breakfast club, Archery Program. 2010 saw the implementation of an Environmental Education Program across all levels of the school. Partnerships were developed with local organisations to provide exciting hands-on and practical in nature outdoor lessons.
