Toongabbie Primary School is situated in a rural community 20km northeast of Traralgon in Gippsland. We promote a friendly environment in which all parties endeavour to reach a high level of self esteem and strive to attain excellence. We are committed to expanding educational opportunities for all students and this is upheld in our corporate belief that all children are capable of educational and personal development and can achieve the goals set for them according to their individual needs. The school prides itself on the range of programs offered to ensure a continuous improvement and achievement of excellence in teaching and learning at every level. There is a strong partnership between parents and staff. We also include the Studies of Asia in our programs with the school being a part of the Asia Education Foundation’s schools program. Reading Recovery for students in Grade one and integration classroom support for specific children within the classroom. Fully functional automated library with four computers for student access, catalogue access from classrooms, a school netbook pod and student access to 16 other computers in the classrooms.
