Congupna Primary School is situated in an attractive rural environment 10 kilometres north of Shepparton. It serves a steadily growing local community and offers a comprehensive education program for all. The school has a long history of community support. Our families are an integral part of our learning community. We work together to build a positive academic, social, physical and emotional teaching and learning environment for every student. School enrolments in 2010 remained steady. Enrolments for 2011 have increased with our current numbers standing at 51. Our values of integrity, trust, and respect enhance our learning, professionalism and student self esteem. We have an established playgroup for pre kindergarten children, our students participate in Active After School programs two afternoons a week and we provide an After School Care program Monday through Friday. Our school's key focus is to continually promote and improve students' learning in English and Mathematics through our comprehensive and diverse curriculum. We have an established outdoor learning environment where children extend their knowledge of the world. We prepare our students to be thoughtful, caring and supportive people who strive for personal and community excellence.
