Bannockburn Primary School aims to provide a friendly, caring and dynamic learning environment where all learners can gain the knowledge, skills and values to achieve their personal best. We seek to maximise the learning opportunities for every child. Bannockburn Primary School is the only school servicing a rapidly growing Bannockburn community. The school offers a comprehensive curriculum across all VELS learning domains. We have a strong commitment to the teaching and learning of Literacy and Numeracy. We offer support programs including Reading Recovery, Multilit, Footholds into Literacy and in 2011 we will introduce numeracy support (EMU and QuickSmart) programs. In 2010 we undertook a school review and developed our new Strategic Plan and set our vision for the future. Our goals are to achieve improved learning outcomes for all students with a particular focus on English and Mathematics and to improve student engagement by strengthening learning confidence and motivation. This school has 31.8EFT staff; 2 Principal class, 26 teachers and 8 Education Support staff.
