Holy Eucharist is a parish Catholic primary school in the western suburbs of Melbourne. Our school is unique for the multicultural backgrounds of our students. Our School Vision states that our school is a place where we aim to develop strong, professional relationships to create a successful teaching and learning opportunity within the Australian Catholic tradition. Our children are engaged, educated and empowered in a community atmosphere. All classes now use an Inquiry/Negotiated approach to integrated learning which includes the teaching and assessment of all subject areas based on the levels and standards of the VELS. We believe that all children should feel valued and be able to reach their full potential and our curriculum strives to provide for this. We have an extensive and comprehensive range of resources for children and teacher's use, specifically chosen for the improvement of literacy across the school. Our library also is well-stocked with many varied and interesting books to help children enjoy reading and to also help them with research and project work. Each classroom has a wide selection of resources using programs especially designed to develop literacy.
