We provide a supportive and caring learning environment that is individualised and personalised whilst taking into account the emotional and social wellbeing of all students, staff, families and community. Our school encourages parents and community involvement and our students participate in a wide range of programs within our community. A strong focus on wellbeing is established with opportunities for all to achieve success in learning. Teaching and learning focuses on the attainment of science, literacy and numeracy skills and inquiry based learning. We provide for a variety of learning styles and abilities. Learning is personalised and caters for the individual needs of all students. To support curriculum, a wide range of enrichment and extra curricula programs are provided. A wide range of new technologies support our students' learning. To enhance the quality and effectiveness of teaching and learning, we have specifically focussed on developing effective teams, coaching, mentoring, team planning and increasing individual teacher development and accountability. Staff have embraced new direction in teaching and learning and demonstrate forward thinking and an endeavour to provide a curriculum that prepares students for an ever changing world. This school has 10.2 equvalent full time staff: 1 Principal, 1.8 Leading Teachers, 7.4 teachers and 2 part time (1.0 EFT) Education Supprt Staff. We are moving into our new 'state of the art' school at the start of Term 2, 2011.
