Seaton High School is a comprehensive co-educational year 8 to 12 secondary school in the western suburbs. Our culture of achievement involves high standards and expectations of mutual respect and self-respect, achievement, behaviour and work, and a dynamic, innovative approach to formal curriculum and student development programs. The educational program is based on high levels of intellectual engagement, rigour and achievement. Seaton explicitly teaches literacy, higher order thinking and research skills in all subjects. Seaton's Graduate Qualities program identifies the personal strengths and capacities that students need to develop and the school offers development opportunities and recognition and reward programs to foster positive personal growth. Seaton encourages positive participation and achievement through many leadership, sporting and artistic opportunities, and external activities and competitions. Seaton provides specialist programs for students with high intellectual potential (SHIP), gifted art students and baseball.
