Hepburn Primary School is situated in the township of Hepburn Springs, five kilometres north of Daylesford in the Central Highlands District. The school promotes environmental sustainability in a natural bushland setting with space to learn, play and grow. The school offers extensive outdoor learning and play areas, a vegetable garden, kitchen/cooking facilities, a hall and stage for music, drama and indoor sporting activities, and soon to be constructed new classrooms and project areas for all students. Small class sizes are designed to cater for the individual needs, special interests and the strengths of our diverse range of students. The rural school tradition where classes are based on a multi-grade level is highly valued. The whole school community strongly advocates quality educational programs which provide the opportunity for continuous growth and excellence in teaching and learning throughout the school.
