Geographe Education Support Centre caters for students with disabilities enabling them to achieve educationally, physically and socially through a learning program that offers support, encouragement and challenge. The Centre is in Busselton W.A. It is split across two school sites allowing continuity of specialist education for its students from Pre-Primary to Year 12 as well as providing students with access to age appropriate curriculum and socialisation in mainstream settings. The Centre has facilities located at Geographe Primary School and Busselton Senior High School. The primary site has three groups; PP to Y2; Y3-4, Y5-7. The high school site had three groups; Y8-9; Y10 and Y11-12. All students participate in activities related to the Curriculum Frameworks eight learning areas, High School students participated in TAFE Certificate Studies, Structured Work Place Learning, Cadet Unit, and the Duke of Edinburgh Award and community projects. We provide specialist swimming lessons, Protective Behaviours education, daily living skills programs and a Rock and Water resilience program. The Centre's facilities are excellent with purpose built therapy, bathroom and sensory room.
