Bungaree Primary School was opened in 1969. Located near the Rockingham City Shopping Centre, it enjoys pleasant grounds, play and oval areas. The School receives strong support from our parent community, with a strong tradition of community connection and involvement. An active Parents and Citizens' Association makes a highly valued and important contribution to the culture of the school. We enjoy the opportunity to provide effective educational programs for an enrolment of 340 students from Kindergarten to Year 7. We celebrate and include the rich diversity of cultural heritage that is found within our school community. Specialist support is provided in LOTE, Physical Education, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Information Communication Technology, Literacy, Numeracy, Science and Learning Difficulties through the Learning Support Coordinator. Students identified with special needs are catered for through the development of Individual Education and Individual Behaviour plans. Students with specific learning difficulties and/or disabilities have been integrated into appropriate classes and receive additional support through the use of a team of outstanding Education Assistants.
