Lake Monger Primary School has a community of learners striving for excellence in an environment of care, support and cooperation. With its country look and family feel, the school is attractively situated on the shore of Lake Monger in the suburb of Wembley. The staff are highly qualified, experienced and dedicated to teaching and learning. An integrated, outcomes based curriculum from Kindergarten to Year 7 aims to cater for the individual needs of each child and Individual Education Plans meet the specific needs of students when required. The school has a strong oral language program which involves our senior students in interschool debating and public speaking competitions. Technology plays an important role as a tool for learning and ICT is a priority. All classes have computers and Internet connection. The school has experienced Specialist Teachers in Italian and Music and teachers working with ICT. The school is part of a local ESL Cell and benefit from a half time Teacher for support programs.
