Riverview State School has a student population of about 230 students and offers classes from Prep to Year 7. Our school is a coeducational school and it has both composite and single year level classes. We are currently trialling single sex classes across some key learning areas within the senior year levels. Our school community is multicultural with about 65% of our student population being Pacific Islander and about 19% Indigenous. Recently, our student population has had an increase in Sudanese children. Our refugee numbers are increasing as is our 'Students in Care of the State.' Our teaching staff has a wide range of teaching experiences and levels of expertise.
