Waverley Meadows Primary School aims to improve learning outcomes for all students and provide excellent teaching and learning at every level. A professional staff team caters for the individual learning needs of our diverse student group. In addition to the Principal, there are eleven teaching staff (including PE, Art and LOTE) and four Education Support Staff. There is sound achievement in English and Maths and quality learning programs in all other curriculum areas. Students are able to access a variety of extra-curricula programs, both within and beyond the regular classrooms which extend their learning and cater for differing learning styles. There is an emphasis on setting personal learning goals and developing independent study habits from Prep. A strong commitment to innovation in ICT across the curriculum provides exciting and flexible learning options designed to challenge and engage students. The partnership between parents and staff results in strong parent participation on school council, as classroom helpers, in fundraising and social activities.
