Eagleby State School is committed to providing quality education for every student who attends our school, based on the principles of equity. While the emphasis on literacy and numeracy skill acquisition has continued at Eagleby, the school also provides a wide range of extra-curricular experiences for the students to broaden their life-skills, including the Active After School Program, additional sports activities, expansion of the Instrumental Music Program and the distrinformation and communication technology 'Days of Excellence'. Our strong leadership program encourages students to be active citizens in the community through the student council body. The beautiful expansive school grounds provide a stimulating learning environment for the students and Eagleby is typically a 'happy' school with staff supporting each other both professionally and emotionally, reflecting our school motto, 'learning together'. Social emotional learning is embedded across the curriculum and is supported by our strong chaplaincy program.
