The school provides a program of Essential Learnings suited to the individual needs of children in the 8 key learning areas of English, Mathematics, Studies of Society & Environment, Science, The Arts, Health & Physical Education, Technology and LOTE - Italian. The school focus for the future is to proportionally increase the number of students achieving at or above the National Minimum Standards in all areas of literacy and numeracy. Initiatives being implemented include an oral language program recognising indigenous use of non-standard English, sustainability measures, national partnerships and teacher coaching.
