Our school's mission is 'to provide a dynamic learning environment that engages students and encourages them to achieve their personal best in an atmosphere of mutual respect and co-operation'. In 2011, the school has around 165 students. An outstanding student welfare structure ensures that the school provides for the needs of our student and their families. Overall parent satisfaction with the school has increased over the past six years and is high in all areas. Flexible and innovative approaches have enabled the school to provide an educational program that is diverse and meets the needs of all students. Senior students can study the VCE or VCAL, and have access to a wide range of vocational and apprenticeship programs. Extension programs are available in the earlier year levels. Our school places a strong emphasis on the importance of Information and Communication Technology in teaching and learning. As a member of the Wimmera Virtual Schooling Project, the school delivers and receives some VCE subjects using blended learning strategies. Curriculum strength areas include the visual arts, instrumental music and environmental science. Sport is an important part of school life. We look forward to collocating with the kindergarten and Beaufort Primary School on the secondary college site.
