St Agnes School (Preschool-Yr 7) is located 20km north east of Adelaide, in a picturesque bushland setting. Our school motto of ‘Learning today, leading tomorrow’ encapsulates what our school is about: giving students access to a high quality education and the opportunity to put those skills into action through programs that promote authentic student voice (such as our student ‘Forum Groups’). Our play group, on-site preschool, and primary school offer programs that promote creativity and challenge, in a caring and safe learning environment. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum including a strong arts/instrumental music program and German as our language other than English. Our school has modern learning facilities, yet still retains the ‘country feel’ of a close school community. Our smaller size is our real point of difference. Our facilities include Smart boards in all learning areas, a well-equipped resource centre/computer suite and a huge multi-purpose gym. Students enjoy playing in the spacious grounds which include significant hard play and grassed areas. Our current site learning plan targets the key areas of numeracy, literacy and science.
