At Littlehampton Primary School we aim to develop creative, confident students who can adapt to and participate in a rapidly changing world. We value personal excellence, a love of learning and quality relationships between students, staff, parents and the community. The school was built in 1900 and we are proud of our history and strong community connection. Parents are involved in an extensive range of activities in student learning and social interaction. Highlight programs are play-based preschool education for four year olds in our on-site preschool, music (there is a strong classroom music program, school choir, instrumental music tuition and band), environmental programs (the school has a caretaker role for nearby Coppin's Bush Reserve), and physical education, with specialist PE and 'Active After School' programs. We offer out of school hours care and vacation care. Our excellent facilities include a new gymnasium, library, double classroom and preschool completed in 2010. Our refurbishment in 2011 includes a Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Dining Room. Our school is admired for our attractive grounds with gardens and lawn spaces. Plans for the further development of our vegetable gardens are well underway.
