Boronia Primary School, in partnership with the school community, values a shared vision for the inclusive education of its children, equipping them as optimistic and resilient life-long learners and supporting them to achieve the aspirations they hold for the future as responsible citizens. The school operates in the belief that all students are capable of learning and that this learning best occurs in a well-regulated school environment supported by a stimulating curriculum. A strong sense of belonging is encouraged in pupils, staff and parents so that we show a real sense of pride in the school and in our collective and individual accomplishments. The core focus of Boronia Primary School is the education of its students. The efforts of all staff are directed towards improving the learning outcomes and development of each individual child. As a school community we aim to provide our students with a challenging academic program while at the same time providing excellent opportunities and programs to cater for artistic, cultural and physical abilities and interests. To achieve effective learning in the above areas we aim to provide a challenging, ordered learning environment where appropriate teaching and learning programs and codes of behaviour are supported and practised. This school has 14.4 equivalent full-time staff: 1 Principal Class, 17 teachers and 5 Education Support Staff. Boronia Primary School is merging with Boronia Heights College and Allandale Preschool. Construction of stage one has commenced and will be completed by December.
