Chiltern is located in the northeast of Victoria. Chiltern Primary School aims to provide innovative and enriching programs that challenge students to explore and achieve their full potential in a supportive and caring environment. We value and embrace parent and community involvement. We are a community that fosters respect between parents and the school, and we encourage and value the participation of all members of the community in every educational program at the school. Chiltern Primary School has 7.2 equivalent full time staff: 1 Principal staff, 4 teachers and 2.58 Education Support Staff. Our school values are: Doing Your Best, Respect, Responsibility, Care and Compassion, A Fair Go and Honesty and Integrity. The school’s enrolment has undergone major fluctuations over the past seven years. Students have a keen interest in their schoolwork, enjoy and excel at sport, physical education and communication technology. The school is developing a sustainable environment through its gardens and recycling strategies that will promote responsibility and global awareness within the community. During semester one 2011 our school will be undertaking our school self-evaluation and review.
