Seaford North Primary School is a great place to learn, offering a variety of programs and activities for our students. Our purpose is to develop socially well adjusted children who perform to the best of their ability in a purposeful, engaging learning environment with an expectation of excellence in learning and behaviour. The school values learning, resilience, teamwork, respect, and relationships across students, staff, and members of the community. We are uniquely situated on 7 hectares of land bordering extensive heritage listed wetlands. We have an Animal Palace, vegetable gardens, a natural bushland area and our school bus ‘Gus’. We provide before, afterschool and vacation care. The school in 2010 operated 12 classes and specialist programs in Art, P.E., Science, Multimedia, L.O.T.E, a user paid music program, excursions, camping and swimming programs.The school is proud of it's reputation for teaching programs, social skills and small class sizes. Literacy and Numeracy along with Student Engagement, strong Well Being programs, Student Pathways and Transitions being a priority in our School Strategic Plan. Our school Strategic Plan reflects an emphasis on the development of Literacy and Numeracy, student engagement and wellbeing (introducing new social skills programs) and a strong transition program. A lot of emphasis has been placed on the development of community and relationships resulting in the formation of a very strong parents club. Our new classrooms are designed to meet the learning needs of the 21st Century learner.
