Nanneella Estate is a small rural school which operates two classroom programs, one being a P/1/2 and the other class is a combined year 3/4/5/6. Staff are committed to working with parents and children to enable the best possible educational outcomes for each child. Programs are designed to meet the individual needs of each child. A teaching staff of 2.8 which includes a principal, one full-time and two part time teachers, along with Educational Support staff of 0.52 including a business manager and two integration aides, provide low student teacher ratios. The school has a strong emphasis on children doing their best which is one of our school values. We support our students to achieve their best by teaching them how to get along, how to be organised, to persist at tasks and to be confident. We have strong student wellbeing programs based on staff and students forming strong relationships which result in a positive and caring learning environment. There is a well developed partnership between parents and staff, with a high level of participation on school council and parents club. Parents also participate as classroom helpers, on school excursions, school sports, science/drama programs and a wide variety of other activities. Nanneella Estate is well resourced with up to date equipment and is set in attractive grounds.
