Our school values care, courtesy, co-operation and common-sense. We focus on literacy and numeracy, deliver a strong physical education and sport program and provide opportunities in the creative arts. In response to the needs of our multi-cultural community, we specialise in teaching English as a second language. We are proud of our four-phase ESL Program which provides accelerated progress through the ESL Continuum. We also provide intervention programs in literacy and numeracy for students who do not seem to be progressing at the rate of one year's progress in a calendar year. Our teaching and support staff are continually building their capacity to deliver strong learning outcomes and we have a number of teaching and learning coaches as well as making use of specialist consultants. Our school is currently being re-built and the modern new learning spaces will complement the skills and specializations of our staff. We provide optimum student/adult ratios for learning activities with multiple staff being responsible for the achievement of learning goals. During 2011, we will be able to share play and sport space with our neighbour Dandenong High School. Students from Dandenong North Primary school will be able to play on a huge grassed playground during morning breaks.
