Cargo Public School is a small rural school situated 35km west of Orange in Central West NSW. Our rural-based community holds the Cargo Public School in high regard. Cargo Public School has a commitment to community involvement and the provision of excellence in education through a wide variety of curricular experiences including the creative arts and technology. An active lifestyle and the development of a variety of sporting skills is also a strong focus within the school. Decision-making is based on a consultative model between staff, students, parents and the community. The school has tremendous technology resources and is able to provide each student daily computer use. All students are taught computer programs and techniques from Kindgergarten. The classroom utilises interactive whiteboard technology as the basis of teaching practise, with all students able to use the technology functions to assist in their learning.
