St John's Lutheran Primary School is committed to providing quality educational programs for our students that prepare children for the future in a caring, Christian environment. Our school, with a community kindergarten co-located on site, endeavours to support parents in the development of the 'whole' child by providing programs that cater for their emotional, social, academic and spiritual needs and aims to provide an atmosphere where each child is encouraged to develop his or her individual God given talents and abilities becoming confident, creative and productive contributors to society. The contemporary and innovative educational program provides a wide range of experiences that are ICT rich and extra curricular activities to engage students in learning. The school focuses on providing curriculum linked to meaningful learning where literacy and numeracy is a priority, excellence is encouraged and effort is recognised and praised regardless of academic capabilities. The ethos of the school is underpinned by the Lutheran Education Australia values and pastoral care is a main concern. The school has adopted a consistent restorative approach to relationships and is in the process of implementing a whole school approach to social and emotional education.
