Rupanyup Primary School provides a safe and positive learning environment where the core values of respect, striving to do your best and service to community are intrinsic to the achievement of academic and social goals. It is a small, family orientated rural school with an enrolment of 45 in 2010. This enables us to maintain small class sizes and a strong sense of connectedness to the school and community. Our Strategic Plan goals are to improve student achievment in both literacy and numeracy, and to continue to develop student personal learning and planning skills. We strive to provide opportunities for our students, both within school and out, working closely with our community. We are fortunate to offer Chinese as our LOTE subject, and the teacher is able to foster an understanding of Asian culture and language. Our excellent facilities include a pool and a newly developed hall and we are currently refurbishing the main school building. It is imperative that our students have access to the latest technology and have the knowledge and skills to use this technology. All classrooms have an Interactive Whiteboard and through parental assistance have established that the Grade 2-6 students now have access to a netbook computers.
