Creswick Primary School provides a comprehensive curriculum and is committed to achieving continuous improvement. Our programs are designed to cater for the individual needs of students across all levels within the school. While our focus is on high achievement within literacy and numeracy, we offer a number of social competency and extracurricular options that enhance our normal classroom programs. Activities such as Families, Money Maths, Lunchtime Legends, Active After School, Extension Choices, Developmental Play, a myriad of sporting pursuits and the opportunity to participate in small group music lessons are just part of what is available. The school has five guiding values which form the basis of our social competencies program and underpin our beliefs about our actions during work and play. These values are Respect, Cooperation, Safety, Responsibility and Personal Best. There is a very strong partnership between parents, staff and the community. We have a high level of parent support with parents helping in the classroom, coaching sports, working in the canteen, fund-raising and serving on the school council. Creswick Primary School offers approximately 170 students an attractive, modern, safe and stimulating learning environment along with a Before and After School Care Program. The school has excellent facilities which allows for flexibility with programs. In 2012, the school will further develop its Strategic Plan to focus on: achieving high quality educational outcomes for all students with a particular focus on literacy and numeracy, providing a child centred learning environment and ensuring that all students have positive transitions to, from and through the school
