Wattleview Primary School’s purpose is to educate learners for life. We provide an environment that :- ?Challenges and supports all students to achieve their individual learning goals through rigorous Teaching and Learning practices and encourages students to learn in an atmosphere of mutual respect, cooperation and participation. ?Supports students in making informed decisions that prepare them for life in a global community. ?Encourages friendship, connections with others and celebrates all successes ?Values socially competent students who are aware of their responsibility towards the wider community. We currently have 250 students in 11 classes run by 14 classroom teachers and supported by 7 Education Support Staff. Specialist programs are offered in Physical Education, Performing Arts and Visual Arts. Language and social competency programs also complement our curriculum delivery. There are two Principal Class Officers and two Administration staff members. During this year our school review took place and gave us direction for our Strategic Plan for 2011-2014. Our plan outlines a strong commitment to Student Learning with an emphasis on Literacy and Numeracy. There has continued to be increasing school support from our parent community through School Council and it's various sub-committees
