Karoo Primary School is committed to engaging all students; allowing each individual the opportunity to reach their potential. This is achieved across all curriculum areas by developing a positive environment that supports continuous improvement and emphasising excellence. Our school prides itself on catering for individuals through a range of programs. Students are encouraged and supported in their learning through self motivation, cooperative learning and risk taking. Specialised programs are in place for students requiring additional assistance or extension. To enhance student learning and to integrate Information Technology all classrooms have access to Smartboards. In addition to networked computers we also have notebooks available for students to use. Home and school partnerships are encouraged through regular communication; the emphasis is to develop this partnership. Our school offers the students a well resourced range of learning environments housed in well designed new buildings. Well maintained grounds and areas of articifical turf are a feature. The school has 32 equivalent full time staff, 3 Principal class, 30 teachers and 10 EES staff.
