Greenwood Senior High School is nestled in tall native trees and is well serviced by public transport. Located 14 kms north of Perth and 5 kms from the Indian Ocean, the school caters for students in their 8th to 12th years of schooling and is supported by a strong school community. Among the excellent sporting infrastructure, students have access to a swimming pool, dance studio and a well provisioned gym. The school has two system endorsed specialist programs - Aviation and Volleyball - along with school-based elite programs in Dance and Music. An Intensive English Centre is also based at the school which caters for overseas students. These students comprise fifteen percent of the school population and often continue their studies in the mainstream school after graduation from the Itensive English Centre.
