Darling Range Sports College offers comprehensive, relevant and challenging programs in Academic Extension and Enrichment, the Arts, Technology and Enterprise and Vocational Education. As a specialist sports college we provide a rich environment in which talented athletes can combine their sport with a quality academic program. College programs across a wide range of sports are supported by expert coaching provided by credentialed teaching staff and specialist coaches. Enrolment in the College and sporting programs is highly competitive. Annually students enrol into year eight from forty to fifty different primary schools. While sporting programs are high profile the College also values a strong academic focus. To this end our academically talented students are supported through an Academic Challenge and Enrichment Studies program that establishes a pathway to university commencing in Year 6/7. This challenging academic program provides students opportunities to participate in academic competition, promotes partnerships with university and offers international/interstate travel experience.
