Stanley Primary School is a small rural primary school in the North East of Victoria, and it's mission is to service the community of Stanley and surrounds. The core values of our school are: Excellence in all we do, Respect for self and each other, Tolerance for each other's differences, Confidence in our abilities, Trust - in self and each other, Resilience - to complete tasks and Integrity - doing the "right action " well. Stanley Primary School achieves its mission by striving to meet each student's academic, social and emotional needs and employs expert staff who specialise in the acquisition of Numeracy and Literacy skills. In 2010 our staff consisted of a full time teaching Principal, a classroom teacher for 3 days a week, and a business manager for 2 days a week. In 2010 a new Principal was appointed to Stanley Primary school and the school council also changed in structure. Government grants have been spent on improving facilities for students and our picturesque school grounds now provide a shady, pleasant and safe play space. Stanley Primary School plays an important role in the community by engaging with various groups - the Athenaeum, Art exhibitions," Carols by Candlelight "and joining in Carnivals and Parades in nearby Beechworth. Our families engage with school daily life, contributing expertise in Gardening, Healthy Lifestyle cooking, Library and maintenance of our grounds.
