Our vision for BMPS is to develop self-sustaining, life long learners in a recognised centre of educational excellence. We provide a quality education that challenges all students to attain their highest potential academically, socially, creatively and physically in a nurturing environment. We focus on developing positive relationships. BMPS encourages students to respond to high expectations, to work effectively with others, and acknowledges that students learn best when they have confidence in their own abilities and a sense of personal worth. Our school community is committed to the values of "Respect, Learning, Teamwork, Kindness and Integrity". BMPS offers a genuinely broad curriculum. Our students have access to a wide range of specialist programs including, Art, PE, Sport, Music, Mandarin Chinese LOTE, Science and History. The school provides Quicksmart maths, Reading Recovery, Reading Mastery and Corrective Reading for students requiring additional assistance. Our key curriculum emphasis is on the development of literacy and numeracy. Our PATHS program aims to develop social skills from Prep to Year 6. We proudly run the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program. Over $9 million has refurbished the school with facilities of the highest quality to enhance student learning. We have a dedicated, hard working staff as well as a strong community culture. We value parent input and these very positive relationships encourage student learning and allow for effective home/school partnerships. Teaching staff comprise 29 full time, 13 part time and 18 support staff.
