Our school’s vision is to provide students with the ability to contribute to society in a positive manner. We work with students to ensure that they develop actions that demonstrate our school values of respect, responsibility, integrity and empathy to others when working in a variety of situations. These values form the basis for a culture within the school that challenges and supports students to achieve at their academic and social potential. Curriculum is targeted to the needs of students, with staff developing positive relationships built on a shared responsibility to learning. Numeracy and Literacy are the core elements and we believe that it is vital for students to gain solid skills in these areas. We also strive to provide engaging curriculum that challenges students to become responsible learners, setting learning goals and then reflecting on their progress using a variety of tools. Through comprehensive assessments we ensure that the learning is personalised and precise for the needs of our students. Our school models sustainability, linking curriculum to the areas of water, waste, energy and biodiversity. Students use the inquiry learning process to discover they can make a difference at school, at home and in the wider community. Our 233 students, 13.4 teaching staff, 3.4 Education Support Staff and 150 families work together to create a safe, engaging and challenging environment for social and academic learning. We are a proud school working with partners to ensure that our students develop a love for learning to ensure they can actively contribute to society.
