Lang Lang Primary School is located within the rural township of Lang Lang which is situated just off the South Gippsland Highway some 55kms south-west of the commercial centre of Dandenong and approximately 85kms from the Melbourne CBD within the Shire of Cardinia. Our aim is to achieve the highest potential for every student. Our core values are respect, team work, positive communication and integrity. We offer a varied and expert curriculum covering all areas, and extension and support to those children who require it. Our current enrolment is 133 and this should begin to grow next year as the number in the Lang Lang Kindergarten is higher this year than it has been for a long time. Our school is undergoing some major building restructure with a multipurpose room being built under the BER project and a large shaded area being currently constructed. We offer three specialist areas with the principal teaching for one day per week. The specialist areas are art, physical educational and music. Lang Lang Primary School works very closely with the local community and we benefit from our close relationship with Rotary and other clubs and organisations. We seek and gain grants on a regular basis. Lang Lang Primary School is a very environmentally aware school with recycling, land management and solar power being very important and significant in our education program.
