St Mary's School, Mooroopna, is located in the Goulburn Valley, in north-eastern Victoria. There are approximately 330 children in the school in 15 classrooms. The school was founded by the Mercy Sisters and their values of love and justice are still very much alive in the school today. Our vision is to strive for excellence in a rich learning environment grounded by gospel values. St Mary's has excellent facilities and resources, with the opening of the new Years 5-6 classrooms in 2008 and the new multi-purpose hall beginning construction in 2009. The school curriculum includes features such as Oral Language Supporting Early Learning (OLSEL), THRASS, Bluearth, creative arts and many literacy and numeracy support programs. St Mary's also has many structures to support the school's special needs children. 'Life Skills' is a program which caters for a variety of children with different needs from all year levels.
