In 2010 Glenrowan P S had an enrolment of 107 and serviced the historic town of Glenrowan as well as the surrounding districts of Hamilton Park Estate and Greta West community. Our school has 9.3 equivalent full-time staff: 1.0 Principal class, 6.0 teachers and 2.3 Education Support Staff. Our school has provided a strong and positive learning environment where the values of Integrity, Responsibility, Respect, Honesty & Trustworthiness, Fair Go, Freedom, Care & Compassion, Understanding Tolerance & Incusion and Doing Your Best are embedded in order to develop good character and social responsibility across all levels. Our basic belief is that all children are individuals and have the right to experience a comprehensive education in a caring and friendly environment. Programs are challenging and reflect our belief that learning should be fun. In addition to our original school house/administration area we also have a state of the art building comprising a large central project space with four adjoining learning studios. Playgrounds, covered court area, sports oval, an extensive vegie patch and bushland environment complete our grounds. Specialist classes are provided in Library, Kitchen/Garden, Music and Indonesian. Parents are encouraged to participate in all aspects of school life.
