The school has developed a proud tradition of academic, sporting, cultural and community service achievements during its 76 year history. Its work is supported by the Priority Schools Program. The broad curriculum has a strong focus on the development of literacy and numeracy skills and on the use of technology in learning. Griffith High School provides excellent learning facilities which include a new state of the art performing arts facility, a modern industrial technology centre and library, computer laboratories, expansive playing fields, an agricultural farm and a soon to be completed commercial kitchen unit and ultra-modern science laboratories. A wide range of extra-curricula opportunities is available to meet the diverse interests and abilities of students.
