The first Mundijong school was founded at Manjedal on Sept 28 1896, but shifted into the Mundijong township in 1897 and was renamed after the fledgling township. In 1972 the school shifted to its present site on Livesey St. Mundijong P.S is located in the Canning Education District and is part of the Armadale Cluster. It is located approximately 54 kms south of Perth and has a rural feel. Our school logo is the grass tree and the school colours are green and white. Mundijong's school Motto is, 'Learning Together'. As a school community we strive to provide a caring and positive learning environment, which ensures that all individuals have the opportunity to achieve their own level of excellence whilst developing values to enhance good citizenship. The core-shared values in practice are an important foundation for all learning and teaching and form the basis of all programs at Mundijong P.S. All staff at Mundijong P.S work collaboratively to develop a caring learning environment that fosters self-esteem. Staff, students and parents work together in partnership to achieve the best outcomes for each student in order that they reach their full potential.
